The Northumbria University has been accepting students from Canada for its degree courses for a long period of time. Young Canadians study at such programmes as Applied Linguistics, Architecture, Biotechnology, Built Environment, Computing, Engineering and information Sciences, Conservation of Fine Art, Law, Physiotherapy, Travel and Tourism Management and others. Students who study at Northumbria University and come from Canada, as international students, have a chance of being supported with an International Academic Scholarship. This allowance is intended to reward those with outstanding academic achievements. The scholarship may be granted after taking into consideration a few aspects, such as overall grades, individual subject grades, the kind of obtained qualifications and the type of institution where they previously studied. The amount of an allowance is £2,000 or £1,500, based on a student’s average mark and other results achieved in his/her earlier education.Requirements
In order to be qualified for the International Academic Scholarship, students from Canada must have an overseas fee status. Only self-founding and full-time course students may apply for this scholarship.
