The Dover Fund serves to assist researchers in their research costs with modest awards. Most grants will be in the range of 50-400 Pound Sterling, although larger sums will be considered. The purpose of these grants is to help students pay for visits to libraries, museums and sites to help their research.
In order to be considered, studies must benefit the study of the history of the Greek language in any period from the Bronze Age to the 15th century AD, and to further the edition and exegesis of Greek texts. Both graduate students and young scholars may be eligible.
