General Description

The AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award is a scholarship funded by the AHRC. It is intended to allow a student to take part in the project 'Artist-led contributions to the cultural value agenda: developing theory, methods and policy insight'. The award includes UK/Home rate tuition fees and stipend. In addition up to 1000 Pounds Sterling per annum may be provided to cover travel expenses and such. A further 5000 Pounds Sterling is available over the entire studentship to cover self-employed artists' loss of income resulting from the project. The grant lasts 3 years.

Requirements

Applicants need to meet the University of Warwick’s standard entry requirements. Furthermore, the scholarship is only available to home/EU applicants; EU nationals need to have been residing in the UK for at least three years prior to commence the studentship to qualify for full funding. Failure to meet this criteria will mean eligibility for a fee-waiver scholarship only. Applicants from outside the EU are only eligible for this studentship if they are already in possession of permanent UK residency or citizenship.
