The Ertegun Graduate Scholarship Programme is awarded to up to 10 students each year. It is available for those starting one or two year Master' degrees or three-year doctoral degrees. Exceptional students in selected humanities courses are eligible for the award. It is for students with exceptional ability and who show leadership potential. Winners of the award get their Oxford University tuition fees paid. They also get a grant for living costs. The total award is currently almost £14,000. Successful applications also get to use Ertegun House which is located with the university.
Students studying most Humanities courses are eligible although those pursuing courses in the social sciences are not. Applicants must be starting a new course and cannot be in receipt of any other type of award.
