General Description
The Gateway Scholarship (Full Time Student) helps students from low income barriers. The aim is to remove some of the financial pressures by providing funding to help with things like the cost of books or accommodation. It is awarded by the University of Ulster Fund. The amount available is £1,000 per year. Students can apply for the scholarships for up to three years but cannot get it while on their work placement year.
Requirements
To qualify applicants must be full-time students. They must also be accepted on an undergraduate course at the University of Ulster. They must also come from a low income family.
