General Description
Students wishing to undertake postgraduate study on the island of Ireland can apply for a North-South Scholarship. The aim of the scholarship is to encourage students from Northern Ireland to study in the Republic of Ireland, and students from the Republic of Ireland to study in Northern Ireland. The award is for one year. It is valued at 15,000 Euro. It is awarded by Universities Ireland.
Requirements
All students currently studying at a university on the island of Ireland can apply. Students who completed their course within the last 10 years can also apply. Those wishing to study a Master's degree must have a 2:1 in their undergraduate degree. Those looking to start a PhD must have completed a Master's. Students born on the island of Ireland but who did their undergraduate degree in England, Scotland or Wales can also apply.
