The Postgraduate Experience Project aims to identify the reasons that either hinder or encourage British citizens resident in the UK from pursuing postgraduate studies. Kingston University is able to fund 40 scholarships thanks to this project. They are for various courses, both part-time and full-time. For full-time students there are seven scholarships for a one year MSc; seven scholarships for 60% of the course fees for a one year MSc; and 10 scholarships for a £1,000 discount off the course fee for a one year MSc. For part-time studies there are seven scholarships for a two year MSc; and eight scholarships for a 60% discount off the course fees paid for a two year MSc. Kingston alumni also get 10% off their course fees if they are allocated the 60% or £1,000 scholarship.
Applicants must be a British citizen and resident in the UK. They need to live or work within a 25 mile radius of Kingston University. And they must have achieved a 2:2 at undergraduate level in addition to any other qualifications specified by the course they are applying for. Applicants must have accepted a place on an MSc course that Kingston has approved for the PEP project. Part-time students must be in their first year of study.
