General Description
Designed to allow environmental scientist to tackle their education with the utmost dedication, the NERC Independent Research Fellowship Scheme provides its recipients with 5 years of financial support. Through this, the NERC Independent Research Fellowship Scheme enables these students to focus solely on their research without the burden of obtaining other occupation to meet their costs.
Requirements
The award offered by NERC Independent Research Fellowship Scheme is one that is focused on excellence and thus, viable candidates will be those who show great potential in the field of environmental science. When turning in an application, NERC Independent Research Fellowship Scheme requires that the applicant’s PhD thesis is also submitted. Another qualification for this funding includes post-doctoral experience of up to 8 years.
