BFWG Scholarships are awarded by the British Federation of Women Graduates. As the name suggests they are for female graduate students. Those students must be in their third year of a PhD. It is awarded to help with the student's ongoing doctoral work. There are up to eight scholarships given each year. They range from £1,000 up to £3,000.
To be eligible students must be doing their PhD at a UK university, although universities in Northern Ireland are excluded. They can be studying full-time or part-time but must be in their final year of study. Students can come from anywhere in the world. Only women can apply.
