Newcastle University offers the Access Scholarship, worth £500 per year, to students having entered the university through one of the alternative routes or coming from an area with a low higher education participation rate.
This scholarship is open to students of the Newcastle University (except for those studying the four-year Speech and Language Science degree or the fifth year of the Medicine or Dentistry programme) who come from a household with an income of £42619 or less. Candidates must have entered the university through the PARTNERS Programme or the Realising Opportunities Programme or come from an area with a low percentage of students pursuing higher education. Applicants must be permanent residents of the UK.
