The University of Oxford offers the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarship to support full-time graduate students from Muslim communities. This scholarship provides full coverage of all university and college fees; a grant for living costs is also included.
This scholarship is available for full-time students entering a postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford and coming from a Muslim community. Applicants must be permanent residents of the United Kingdom or one of the following Asian or African countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Djibouti, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guyana, Indonesia, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Suriname, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Yemen Arab Republic. Grantees not coming from the United Kingdom should intend to return to their country of residence upon completion of their studies.
