General Description
Newcastle University offers three Sandman Scholarships to students accepted on to an undergraduate degree programme in either the School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering or the School of Computing Science. The Sandman Scholarships are valued at £2500; this amount is awarded to successful candidates every year for three years.
Requirements
This scholarship is open to prospective students entering either the School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering (preference will be given to female candidates in this case) or the School of Computing Science of Newcastle University. Candidates must provide a covering letter, a brief CV, proof of entitlement to a student loan, and a copy of their passport or birth certificate. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.
