General Description
The University of Southampton offers the Southampton Merit Scholarship to to the highest-achieving, first-year entry UK and EU students across the University. The sum awarded will be up to £3000 (currently about 3620 euro) for each year of study; the quantity given to each recipient depends on the grades achieved in A-levels.
Requirements
These scholarships are open for first year students enrolled in degree courses taught at the University of Southampton. Candidates must exceed the standard GCE A level entry criteria of AAB or gain 35 points overall (17 at Higher Level) or above in the International Baccalaureate or achieve a grade of D*D*D in BTEC Extended Diploma in Business. Applicants must be citizens of the United Kingdom or another European Union country.
