General Description
The Government of Thailand has established the One District One Scholarship (ODOS) programme in order to give a chance of international education to outstanding students from poor families with the aim of broadening opportunities for local development. Recipients will be contractually obliged to work for the Thai government upon returning from abroad.
Requirements
The degree programmes funded are required to be related to agriculture, industry, creativity; management or commerce. Applicants must have attained an average GPA of at least 3.0 for the last five semesters of their secondary school; their family income should be lower than 150000 baht a year. Candidates must be Thai nationals; the upper age limit is set at 25 years old.
