The Fondation de France offers the Prix de la Fondation de l'Oeil as an award to acknowledge original and innovative research works in the fields of ophthalmology and vision sciences. The award will include a monetary prize worth 50000 euro. Requirements
This prize can be awarded to basic and clinical research papers of high scientific stature; works in the fields of humanities and social sciences can also be eligible. The winning paper will be chosen on the basis of the scientific and clinical importance and originality of its findings; the applicability of the results obtained will be also taken into account as an awarding criterion.
