General Description
St Michael's Credit Union Blackrock has offered an Entrance Bursary for a member, or child of a member, of St Michael's Credit Union, Blackrock, Cork. The bursary is only tenable in University College Cork. It is worth €1,000. One bursary is awarded on the basis of the highest aggregate results achieved in the Leaving Certificate Examination. The subjects that will be counted towards the aggregate are Irish, Geography, and Mathematics. Students have to achieve their results on the first attempt at the same sitting of the Leaving Certificate.
Requirements
Aggregate results must be achieved in the first attempt at the same sitting of the Leaving Certificate to be considered. Applicants must obtain a minimum of a C3 grade in Honours Irish. The Bursary must be used for the purpose of pursuing a BA Degree in which Irish, geography, or mathematics is a major subject.
