General Description
Special stipend for the handicapped is awarded to students who demonstrate a handicap certified by the appropriate authority. The amount of the stipend depend on the degree of the handicap.
Requirements
Significant degree of handicap is understood as in the regulations concerning vocational and social rehabilitation and the employment of the handicapped. This includes complete incapacity to work and for independent life as stated by the provisions on the retirement and disability benefits by the Social Insurance Fund. It also includes permanent or long-term agrarian work inability of for independent life as stated in the regulations of social insurance for farmers. Such handicap must be certified by statement of inclusion in the 1st group of disability, inability to lead an independent life as stated by the retirement and disability regulations of the Social Insurance Fund of the social insurance for farmers. Medium degree of handicap is defined as per the vocational and social rehabilitation and the employment of the disabled regulations. This includes complete inability to work as certified based on the retirement and disability benefits regulations of the Social Insurance Fund. One must hold a certificate of belonging to the 2nd group of disability. Minor degree of handicap is understood as a partial inability to work and the need for retraining as specified in the regulations. One must have certificate of inability to work in the agriculture and belong to the 3rd group of disability.
