DAAD is offering Czech university students the opportunity to study in Germany though their German University study scholarships.
Two separate scholarships types are available. One is open to non-doctoral Czech students wishing to study or perform research at a German university. This scholarship may last anywhere from 1 to 6 months. The second type is a research scholarship for doctoral students who will then finish their PhD in the Czech Republic. Research grants last from 1 to 10 months.
Approved candidates will receive a stipend of between 750 and 1000 Euro, depending on the particular program they are enrolled in. Additional contributions may also be partially covered by the scholarship.
Czech university students with a desire to pursue research projects or study in Germany may apply for these scholarships. In the case of a study scholarship, only students who are not enrolled in a PhD program will be considered. For research scholarships, those students who are working towards a PhD may apply, provided that they will complete their degree in the Czech Republic.
