General Description
The Ústí nad Labem Regional Government of the Czech Republic sponsors a scholarship as a way to offset university costs for exceptional students in the region who wish to continue their university studies. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are supported by these scholarships. Lengths and monetary amounts of these scholarships vary and are based on the needs of the individual student.
Requirements
To qualify for these grants, applicants must be permanent residents of the Ústí nad Labem region of the Czech Republic. Prospective undergraduate applicants must be entering or attending their second year. Master's students must have already achieved a bachelor's degree and be in their first or second year. A grade-point average of at least 1.8 in the previous year of study is required to be eligible for this scholarship.
