Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic provides measures of financial aid to its economically disadvantaged students through Social Scholarships. These scholarships help those who receive child credits and who have below-average incomes with mitigating the costs of university study. The scholarship is paid in monthly instalments.
Requirements
Low income students at the university may apply for Social Scholarships if they have the right to receive a child benefit from the state. Applicants must be under 26 years of age. In order to receive the scholarship, applicants must provide a statement from the appropriate government body proving a family income below the baseline coefficient of 1.5.
