The Max-Planck-Gesellschaft's Prince of Asturia Mobility Programme offers grants to enable Spanish doctoral students and postdocs to take up research residencies at a Max Planck institute of their determination. The grant provides financial support for research residencies lasting up to four weeks per year for doctoral students and eight weeks for postdocs. Spanish partner institutions of successful candidates will receive up to 5,008 Euros (for doctoral students) or 8,112 Euros (postdocs) per candidate to fund the guest residency, from which travel and equipment costs may be met.
Doctoral students and postdocs at Spanish universities or research facilities must possess a solid scientific record and may not exceed 30 or 35 years in age respectively. Doctoral students should have begun the second year of their doctorate in order for them to make maximum use of the opportunity.
