General Description
The Cultural Institute of Macao S.A.R. Government (IC) awards grants aimed at supporting academic research projects in the Humanities which make a significant original contribution to the understanding of Macao, and of Macao's relationship with China and other countries. The total amount of funding provided will be 130000 MOP (currently about 18710 Euro) for PhD students and 110000 MOP (currently about 15830 euro) for Master´s degree students.
Requirements
Applicants must have completed at least a Master´s degree; they are required to submit an authenticated proof of academic qualifications, a curriculum vitae with detailed description of academic achievements and professional experience, a Master´s degree abstract and a detailed outline of their proposed research project, and a letter of reference from an academic supervisor. Applications are assessed according to the following criteria: the academic value and significance of the research project, and the applicant's academic background, research experience and ability to complete the project, as indicated in the curriculum vitae.
