General Description
The Erasmus Mundus SECRET(Strengthening Research Collaborations in High-impact and Emerging Technologies) is a mobility programme between Master and Doctorate students and researchers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the EU. The EM SECRET Consortium consists of 10 Partner Universities: 4 Gulf Universities and 6 European Universities coordinated by City University London (UK). 58 EM SECRET scholarships are awarded annually. The duration of the mobility depends on the level of participation and ranges from 6-36 months. The scholarship covers travel expenses and provides a monthly stipend of €1500 for the duration of the mobility programme.
Requirements
For Target Group 1, students need to be enrolled at one of the partner institutions in the EU. Undergraduate students must have already completed one year of studies at their home university. For Target Group 2, students must be enrolled at a university of higher education institution of any European country (not in the partnership) and must have a university degree or equivalent. Candidates must have a good command of English and of the language of the host country. Recipients of other mobility grants are not eligible.
