The European Union, through the ATLANTIS programme, offers exchange opportunities between Europe and the United States to graduate students who study renewable energy use through the fields of chemistry, chemistry engineering and material engineering. Successful applicants receive a monthly stipend of 600 euros and a return air ticket. Exchange courses and internships are of a minimum of five months. European participating universities are Ghent University, University of Graz, and the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse. American participating universities are the University of Arkansas, Iowa State University, and Kansas State University.
The scholarships are open to students who have already completed an undergraduate degree.
