General Description
The Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria offers research scholarships for students who are descendants of forced labourers or who come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from theNazi regime. Grantees will be awarded 1040 euro monthly for a maximum of 4 months.
Requirements
Applicants must be doctoral students, or Master´s degree or Diplom students in the process of writing their end of degree thesis. The online application form has to be accompanied by a curriculum vitae, a project plan for the study and research stay in Austria, proof of knowledge of German or English, two letters of recommendation from teaching staff of the applicant´s home university and a letter of acceptance from an academic supervisor working at an Austrian higher education institution. These scholarships are intended to support students who are descendants of forced labourers or who come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labourers. The age limit for applicants is set at 40 years old for doctoral students and 35 years old for other students.
