The Merit Award of the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Portugal is awarded senior year students with outstanding academic results in their final year. The award is the university degree diploma (certificate) of the student’s course.
Students have to be enrolled in one of the following courses: Doctorate in Theology (Canon Law 2), Masters Degree in Theology, Masters Degree in Religious Sciences, Masters Degree in Religious Studies and Licentiate Degree Religious Sciences. Should there be more than one eligible student this merit award will be presented to the senior student with the highest mark in expressed in a scale rounded to hundredths. To be eligible, students must have completed their Degree within the expected school years.
