These mobility grants are to support students in financial needs with the additional costs of travel and/or accomodation.
Mobility grants are intended for high school students merit enrolled in first or second cycle university or polytechnic education. Applicants must be formally enrolled at the University of Aveiro and must have completed the first year of university studies. They may not have participated in a student mobility program of the AU and must be selected by the departmental coordinator mobility according to the specific requirements set by the Department / Autonomous Section to which it belongs. Furthermore, applicants must choose a higher education institution with which the University of Aveiro hold bilateral student exchanges. An academic recognition agreement is also required to ensure that study abroad are fully recognized by both educational institutions. Students will only be eligible if they conduct mobility for a period of at least one semester (equivalent to 30 ECTS) from August 2013 and satisfy all specific requirements set by the host university and the organization promoting the mobility grant awarded.Social Welfare scholarship students have priority in awarding scholarships.
