General Description
The goal of the creation of the scholarship is to combat insecurity among young Madeiran institution, which has seen an increase of students since 2000, but a "decline in social support." "We have noticed that many students have had many difficulties in being in college and noticed that there were people who did not have lunch or ate very little," says the president. This measure is in addition to other already implemented by AAUMa, as is the case of the simple meal and the simple snack (sandwich and glass of milk for 0.55 euros), created in December.
Requirements
Students must show financial need, and be enrolled in a course at the young Madeiran institution (AAUMa).
