General Description
The University of the Azores provides UAC merit scholarships to students with outstanding results throughout their year of study. These students are further motivated through financial support and the amount of money they receive represents five times the value of the minimum national wage in Portugal at the moment of the academic year debut. A merit scholarship is awarded for each 500 students of the University.
Requirements
Students need to achieve at least 16 points on the course average of the previous year in order to be eligible for a merit scholarship at the University of the Azores. Results are not rounded to integer numbers and they are calculated up to two decimals.
