General Description
The Camões Institute offers scholarships within of bilateral cooperation programs between Portugal and many countries. This is scholarships is for Portuguese citizens that wish to pursue their studies in other countries. The scholarships are offer every year. The main objective of the scholarships is to learn and improve the language and culture of each country. The period of the scholarships is 1 month. In cases of summer courses, with the objective of research the student can have the scholarship up to 9/10 months.
Requirements
The applications forms and instructions for the processes are available in Camões Institute or the Embassies of the countries that offer the scholarships. Applications for research must necessarily be accompanied by the original documents or properly authenticated. The documents are: proper form with photograph; Certificate of Qualification; Certificate of linguistic competence, according to the indication of each country.
Plan properly structured of the work; Letters of recommendation from two teachers accompanying the candidate; Letter of acceptance from the institution where the research will take place; Medical certificate (as required by the authorities of the country that awards the scholarships. The student should also check with the embassy of each country for additional documents differently required. The candidates will be informed of the results as the authorities of the countries that grant scholarships transmit their decisions.
