The MIT Portugal is offering Doctoral Programs Bioengineering, Leaders for Technical Industries, Sustainable Energy Systems, and Transportation Systems. The scholarship is sponsored by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, IP (FCT,IP). Every year 10 scholarships per program are attributed to selected candidates. Each Doctoral Program, will select the candidates that will be awarded with the scholarships funded though the FCT,IP. The contracts for the scholarship will be signed directly by the selected candidate and FCT. Interested candidates must hold a master degree or equivalent in the areas targeted by the MIT Portugal Program.
Interested candidates must be Portuguese or citizens from the State members of the European Union. Students from other countries provided the application is supported by the Portuguese hosting institutions adherent to Agreement for the International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Higher Education. Citizens from other countries with a valid resident permit or long-term residents will be selected by interview. Students interested in graduated programs must hold a recognized degree in an academic or a scientific curriculum. For undergraduate programs the student must show a diploma that can be recognized as attesting the capacity to complete the study cycle. The document must be authenticated by the legal and statutorily competent scientific body of the university where they intend to be admitted.
