Danish Work Society - Danish Work, Odense Department's Anniversary Scholarship

What you get

You will receive a one-off grant of 10,000 DKK (about 1,340 EUR) to support your further studies in commerce or industry. This is a one-off payment, not a monthly grant. The money comes from the Odense branch of the Landsforeningen Dansk Arbejde (Danish Labour Association), which awards the grant at its annual general meeting in March.

Who can apply

• Field of study: You study something in trade or industry. This is broad: crafts, agriculture and horticulture, economics, law, or commerce all count.
• Age: You are at least 21 years old.
• Financial need: You need financial support to be able to continue your studies.
• Grades: Your academic performance will be taken into account in the decision.
• Nationality: Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who were born, grew up or are resident in the Funen (Fyn) region of Denmark, although this is not a requirement.

How to apply

There is no official application form. Please write a brief report outlining your academic progress to date, your financial situation and how you would use the money. Please enclose copies of your supporting documents. Please submit your application by 7 March at the latest.
