General Description
The Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD-GmbH) supports postgraduate researchers whose fields of academic interest are related to democratization processes in non-European countries by offering them a grant of 940 Euro to conduct research in Austria for a maximum of 5 months.
Requirements
Applicants must be currently pursuing doctoral studies; their research project in Austria must contribute to the democratization process of their home country. Two letters of recommendation are required, as well as the endorsement of an Austrian university lecturer who is prepared to act as the applicant´s academic supervisor. The grants are open to nationals of Northern Africa, Iran, Iraq, Jordan or Lebanon; only candidates not older than 35 years of age will be considered.
