ARES-Research and Higher Education Academy of Wallonie and Brussels offers grants to foreign students for participation in their international courses and training programmes. Each year, a list of available international courses and trainings is created and updated.
Applicants from developing countries who reside and work in their country qualify for selection. For courses, candidates must be less than 40 years old. For trainings – less than 45 years old. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Candidates must have professional experience of at least two years (in some cases 3 years) upon termination of their studies. Good knowledge of written and spoken French is required in order to participate in courses and daily life in Belgium. Each candidate may apply for only one programme.
