General Description
The Erasmus Mundus– Western Balkans (ERAWEB) programme is an international academic mobility scholarship with a focus on research in Medicine and Health Sciences. The scholarship funds students from the undergraduate level to the doctoral level, as well as for academic staff. The scholarship award provides a monthly stipend ranging from €1,000 to €2,500, travel costs, insurance and tuition fees.
Requirements
Applicants must belong to one of three Target Groups to be eligible. Target group 1: Students and staff of EU universities or the Western Balkans that are members of the partnership. Target group 2: Nationals of the Western Balkans who work in a higher education institution as staff or who have obtained a university degree or equivalent in one of the Western Balkan countries. Target group 3: Western Balkan Nationals who are currently considered to be in politically or socially vulnerable situations (refugees, victim or persecution, internally displaced). EU post doctorate scholars must have obtained their doctorate in the previous 2 years. Academic and administrative staff must be teaching or building faculty. All applicants are expected to be engaged in studies with a focus on research in Medicine and Health Sciences.
