General Description
VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from 54 developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin-America. The scholarship is intended to promote development when students take up positions of responsibility on their return to their home country. The scholarship has a strong development focus. Candidates can follow either a Master programme or a training programme at a Flemish university or university college in Belgium. Masters programme take one to two years. Training programmes take 4 months. The scholarship provides all related expenses for the study programme.
Requirements
You can only apply for one ICP or ITP. Applicants must be both resident AND national of one of the countries on the country list. Applicants must be under 40 years of age for a Masters programme or under 45 years of age for a training programme. Applicants must not have previously enrolled in a Master’s programme at another Flemish university.
