General Description
The Belgian Government wishes to support the Vietnamese government in its efforts to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development. Scholarships awarded through the General Directorate of the Belgian Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) in the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation are intended for young Vietnamese executives wishing to pursue Master studies in Belgium to obtain new knowledge and skills for the benefit of their country. The programme provides 30 scholarships covering all expenses for candidates pursuing a Master degree programme.
Requirements
Candidates must be Vietnamese, living and working in Vietnam at the time of application. Applicants must have a good academic record and be experienced in their chosen field of study. Candidates must demonstrate their future potential to contribute to the future development of Vietnam. Candidates must not have dual nationality of a EU country. Applicants must be under 35 years of age. Applicants must not be married or engaged to a Belgian citizen. Applicants must hold a first degree. Applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience after obtaining their first degree.
