General Description
The State Scholarship Foundation (I.K.Y.) has established a fellowship programme for foreign PhD students wishing to conduct doctoral research in Greece Recipients will be granted 600 euro monthly for one to three years, as well as a one-off payment of 600 euro for initial expenses and an additional contribution of 300 euro to cover binding and printing costs.Requirements
Applicants must submit a 3000-word research proposal, which will be assessed on the ground of its quality and feasibility within a given schedule. They will be also required to provide copies of the university degrees completed (with transcripts of grades), proof of their knowledge of the English language, proof of admission to a doctoral research programme at a Greek state-funded university, two letters of reference and a health certificate.
Selection will be made on the basis of the documents submitted, the applicant´s knowledge of Greek and other languages, and the final grade obtained in previous degree studies.
