General Description
Ulg has a research grant available for foreign doctoral students to promote international mobility with a stay at the ULg research centre. The grant provides support for part of the candidate’s preparation of his doctoral thesis. The duration of the grant is for up to 12 months. The grant may be broken down into up to 4 stays with a minimum period of 2 months each. The grant provides a monthly stipend ranging from €625 to €1,200, plus a round trip ticket to Belgium. The grant may be complementary to other funding. Applicants should seek other funding first.
Requirements
Applicants must be foreign doctoral students already enrolled in a university abroad who is seeking a stay at the ULg. Applicants must return to their home institution to continue their studies after their stay at Ulg. Applicants must not be a beneficiary of any other grant funding by ULg for a total of 12 months or more. Grant recipients of the Erasmus Mundus, Marie Curie, CUD or CTB programmes are not eligible to apply.
