The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens grants scholarships from the proceeds of the Heritage MARY STAI in Kythira to freshmen into university sector Greek High School educational institutions, except military schools. Preference is given to Physics and Mathematics students hailing from Kythera. The monthly amount of the scholarship is 160.00 Euros. For the continuation of the fellowship, fellows must submit annual progress certificate with satisfactory rating. If the scholarship is interrupted by the fault of fellows, or if fellows do not receive their degree within one year from the expiration of the time of their studies, they must repay the amount of the scholarship.
Applicants must submit application with the following documents: 1) Dependency status, from which it is evident the Greek nationality, origin of Kythera and age of candidates, not exceeding 36 years. 2) Graduation from which follows the direction. 3) Individual Bull success and the TEI. 4) Certificate of registration in the University. 5) Copy of criminal record. 6) Statement of Law. 1599 to 1586 that no grant for the same degree has been received.
