General Description
FOUNDATION AGRICULTURE AND PEACE Poumpouras launches scholarship contest: 1) Two (2) scholarships to graduates living in or originating from the Municipality of Andros and one (1) scholarship for graduate who hails from the Municipality of Andros Korthiou for postgraduate studies in Greece or abroad. 2) Two (2) scholarships to first-year students in Greek Universities or T.E.I.gia, living or originate from the Municipality of Andros and one (1) scholarship student who hails from the Municipality of Andros Korthiou. In case you do not find young men and women who meet the above requirements, the provision of financial assistance given to needy young men and women originating from the municipal units Andros Korthiou and inhabit them to the start of their professional activities in these municipal sections.The selection of recipients will be made by the Board of Trustees. If the applications exceed the specified grantees number, it will be drawn from the Board in the presence of candidates or as a parent representative. In case of a tie the candidates will be drawn from the Board in the presence of candidates or a parent representative.
Requirements
Applicants must be: A) young people (men and women) that originate from the Municipal Section Municipal Section Andros KAITI Korthiou residing in these municipal units of the island of Andros. B) Financially weak (economic weakness determined by maximum annual income, individual and family total of 20,000 increased by 3,000 for each child). C) The fellow in any case must have diploma, degree or certificate courses with a grade of at least "very good".
