General Description
The William and Günther Esser Foundation supports young scientists at the Ruhr-University Bochum. In this framework, scholarships are awarded to doctoral students who are in the final stages of their dissertation. The amount of a scholarship is a maximum of 10.000,00 EUR. The promotion is generally limited to one year and may be extended only in exceptional cases.
Requirements
The promotion is aimed at PhD students of all subjects of the Ruhr-University Bochum. Application may be made in the final phase of the promotion. Applicants should have demonstrated by their degree their ability to more extensive scientific activity. In addition, grantees should only have low income of their own. There are no further conditions.
