General Description
The University of Saarlandes, within the scope of the Germany Scholarship Programme, is offering scholarships to exceptionally gifted new and current students. The Germany Scholarship consists of a monthly sponsorship in the amount of 300 Euro. The scholarship will be paid out initially for a year, yet, in accordance with academic performance, it can be extended to the length of the standard period of study.
Requirements
New and current students in any faculty can make an application for the Germany Scholarship. This sponsorship is open to all students enrolled at the University of Saarlandes. Current students should possess very good performance to date in the course of their studies. New students should possess an outstanding grade point average in their Abitur (school leaving examinations). Moreover, social engagement will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the application. Special consideration will also be given with regards to social, family and personal circumstances.
