General Description
Through the NRW Bank and the Germany Scholarship Programme, the University of Duisburg Essen is offering scholarships to exceptionally talented new and current students. The funding consists of a monthly payment in the amount of 300 Euro. The scholarship is initially paid for one year and can be extended, in accordance with academic performance, to the duration of the standard course of study.
Requirements
New and current students in any faculty can apply for the UDE Scholarship. This support is open to all students currently enrolled at the University of Duisburg Essen. The application time period for this scholarship is year in June/July. The exact time period will always be provided on the homepage. Current students must have achieved very good performance to date in their course of study. New students should have achieved an outstanding grade point average in their Abitur (school leaving examinations). Moreover, social involvement will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the application. Special consideration will also be given to social, family and personal circumstances. There are no further prerequisites for this scholarship.
