General Description
The state of Berlin twice annually awards the "Elsa-Neumann-Scholarship of Berlin" to promote highly qualified young scientists. The scholarships are intended to serve the development of artistic projects. The scholarship is endowed with 1,000 Euros plus a monthly allowance of 103 Euros. In addition, a family allowance of 102.26 Euros can be received monthly as well. The maximum funding period is 1 year. At the start of the scholarship, the scholarship recipient should be enrolled at one of the art colleges of the State of Berlin.
Requirements
The promotion is aimed at graduates within the subject groups of visual arts, design, music and performing arts. The graduation must have not taken place longer than three years ago. Candidates should be able to demonstrate above average skills. In addition, the proposed project should be expected to demonstrate an important contribution to the artistic development of the relevant discipline of the awardee. There are no requirements in this category.
