General Description
The Wolfgang-Gentner Scholarships promote doctoral theses in the technical areas. In this context, doctoral students are enabled to carry out their doctoral work at CERN. In addition, a monthly subsidy of 3,679 Swiss (~ 2900 €) francs will be paid. Funding will be provided for a period of 18 months and may be renewed once for a further 6 months.
Requirements
The promotion is aimed at PhD students of all technical fields of study. Particularly students from engineering areas are called encouraged to apply. Excluded from this doctoral program are studies of physical problems of experimental or theoretical nuclear and particle physics.
