General Description
The Ludwig Maximilians University in München manages various Foundations from which student financial assistance is allocated. Scholarships can be granted in the form of a one time lump sum payment for special need study-related costs or as periodic payments when (more) state support isn’t possible. The Rosa Schneider Foundation offers scholarships to the children of Bavarian physicians who demonstrate financial need, specifically from Waisen.
Requirements
The scholarship is aimed at current students in the medical faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in München. The application does not have to be submitted at any specific point in the course of study. In order to receive this scholarship, the applicant must demonstrate need in compliance with the definition within the BAföG. Additionally, good grades are expected of the applicant for a reasonable period of the duration of study. The scholarship is directed to all children of Bavarian doctors.
