The Friedrich-Ebert foundation awards scholarships to outstanding and social engaged students who are studying at a public or officially recognized University. The funding amounts to the same as the Federal Law on Support in Education including 300€ for books. With its scholarship the Friedrich-Ebert foundation wants to promote students come from a low-income household and/or have a migration background. In addition students have access to a variety of offers, including seminars that promote social engagement and competence.
Students from a low-income household with or without migration background who study various subjects at a German University are welcome to apply, if they have outstanding academic achievements. Students of medicine need to have their preliminary (medical) examination in order to be considered.
