General Description
Bauhaus-University Weimar offers postgraduate scholarships in the amount of 1,000 euros and, in some cases, family allowances. For promotions, the scholarship will be awarded for 24 months. For artistic design projects by graduates of the promotion, it will be awarded for 12 months. Extensions can be requested in exceptional cases.
Requirements
The scholarship is aimed at PhD students at the Bauhaus University Weimar and graduates with an artistic and creative project that is offered at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. Candidates must have completed their studies at a university or an equivalent institution, and have above average attendance and examination results. For promotions, candidates must present a scientifically sophisticated and better than average dissertation topic and already be accepted as a doctoral student by an appropriate Graduierungskommission. For artistic and creative projects, candidates must present a project that can make an important contribution to the artistic and scientific or practical artistic development. There are no personal criteria.
