Students at the University of Duisburg-Essen can be eligible for the DUE mobile Scholarship to complete studies, research or internships abroad. Mobility funding can be awarded for a period of up to six months for studies and thesis completion at a foreign university, study-related internships, language courses for students and Promovierendem, and specialized courses for students and PhD students. In addition, study and travel competitions can be sponsored for 7 to 12 days. The funding amounts to 300 to 500 euros per month, depending on the country. Travel grants of 100 to 1,675 euros are also awarded. Tuition at the host university is not covered.
Students at the University of Duisburg-Essen, who are enrolled in a Bachelor, Master, Diploma, Magister or State Examination course can apply for funding. The selection criteria include good academic performance, a quality study project, the motivation of the candidate, good language skills, political commitment and interest. The scholarship is aimed at students with German nationality or German equivalent persons pursuant to § 8 paragraph 1 point 2 ff., Paragraph 2, 2a and 3 training assistance and enrolled at the UDE full-time students from non-EU / EEA countries.
